The Sandwich Professional Firefighters, Local 2196, provide scholarships to the children of Firefighters and Police Officers serving in the town of Sandwich. Additionally, scholarships are awarded to elected applicants who are resident high school graduates, planning to obtain degrees in medicine, fire or emergency management.
